Strawberry-Banana Nutella Shortcake 8 slices angel food cake 3 tablespoons butter 16 strawberries, slices 2 bananas, sliced 1/2 cup nutella, warmed slightly in the microwave Whipped Cream Heat a cast-iron pan or griddle to medium heat. Spread the butter onto both sides of each slice of shortcake. Toast the angel food cake on the heated griddle until golden brown. Spread warmed nutella on top of toasted angel food cake, top with strawberries and bananas, a second slice of angel food cake, then top with whipped cream and a few more strawberries and bananas. Serve immediately.
